Privacy Notice

Last updated: 21 August 2026 · Version 1.0

Who we are

HIGHLINE WINDOWS & DOORS LTD (company number 12108839) is the controller of the personal information described in this notice. Our registered office is Flat 17 Northampton House, Hatton Road, Wembley, United Kingdom, HA0 1RL. Our trading and correspondence address is 86A Llanover Road, Wembley, HA9 7LT.

Questions or requests about your personal information can be sent to contact@highlinewindows.co.uk or +44 7351 338273.

Information we collect

  • Identity and contact details, such as your name, phone number and email address, when you submit our quote form or contact us directly.
  • Enquiry and project details, such as your property address, the work you're interested in, and any message or photographs you choose to send us.
  • If your enquiry becomes an order: survey, specification, payment and installation records, including appointment, completion and guarantee-claim information.

We do not use this website to take payments or run customer accounts, and we do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies of any kind — see our Cookie Notice for the one third-party technology this site does use.

Where information comes from

We collect information directly from you — through our website enquiry form, by phone, by email, or in person during a survey or visit — and from the records we create while quoting, surveying, supplying, installing or providing aftercare.

Why we use your information

  • Responding to enquiries and arranging quotes/surveys — because you've asked us to (steps taken at your request before a contract), or because it's in our legitimate interests to respond to a genuine business enquiry.
  • Preparing, administering and performing an order, if one proceeds — necessary to perform that contract.
  • Meeting our legal, tax and safety obligations — necessary for us to comply with the law.
  • Providing aftercare and handling guarantee claims or complaints — necessary to perform the contract and in our legitimate interests to resolve issues properly.

We keep unsuccessful enquiry details for as long as reasonably necessary in case you get back in touch, and delete or anonymise them after a reasonable period of inactivity. Where an enquiry becomes an order, we keep the order, installation and guarantee file for as long as necessary to meet our contractual, guarantee, tax and legal obligations.

Legitimate interests and your right to object

Where we rely on legitimate interests, this is normally to run and protect our business, respond to genuine enquiries, and keep appropriate records. You can object at any time to processing based on legitimate interests by contacting us; we will stop unless we have compelling legitimate grounds or need the information for a legal claim.

Who we share information with

We share only what is reasonably needed with the suppliers, manufacturers and subcontractors involved in fulfilling your order, and with our professional advisers where relevant. We do not sell personal information, and — because this site does not run analytics or advertising tools — we do not share your details with any analytics or advertising provider.

International transfers

We do not knowingly transfer your personal information outside the United Kingdom.

Security and retention

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information and limit access to people who need it. We keep information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected, including any legal, tax, safety or guarantee-related need, and delete or anonymise it when it's no longer needed.

Your rights

  • Ask for access to your personal information and a copy of it.
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Ask us to erase information, in circumstances where the right applies.
  • Ask us to restrict use of your information, in circumstances where the right applies.
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interests.
  • Receive certain information in a portable format, where the right applies.

We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we normally respond within one month. We do not use any automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects about you.

Complaints, children and changes

Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any concern. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.

Our services are not directed at children. We may update this notice from time to time; we'll post the revised version here with a new effective date.

Cookie Notice

Last updated: 21 August 2026

This notice explains how HIGHLINE WINDOWS & DOORS LTD uses cookies and similar technologies on this website. It should be read with our Privacy Notice.

This site does not use analytics, advertising or marketing cookies of any kind. We don't track your browsing, build a profile of you, or share your activity on this site with any third party for advertising purposes.

The one third-party technology this site uses is Google Fonts, which delivers the typefaces used across the site. Loading these fonts causes your browser to make a request to Google's servers, which may process your IP address as part of that request. No advertising or tracking cookie is set by this, and it is strictly necessary for the page to display correctly.

Because this site does not use any non-essential cookies, we don't currently show a cookie consent banner — there's nothing optional to ask your permission for. If that changes in future (for example, if we add analytics), we will update this notice and add a cookie banner with clear Accept, Reject and Settings options before any non-essential technology loads.

Website Terms of Use

Effective date: 21 August 2026

About these terms

These terms apply when you use this website. By using the site, you agree to these terms; if you do not agree, please stop using it. Any product purchase or installation service is governed by our separate Consumer Terms or Trade Terms, supplied with your quote or order, not by these website terms alone.

This site is operated by HIGHLINE WINDOWS & DOORS LTD, registered in England and Wales under company number 12108839. Registered office: Flat 17 Northampton House, Hatton Road, Wembley, United Kingdom, HA0 1RL. Contact: contact@highlinewindows.co.uk, +44 7351 338273.

Site information and quotes

We aim to keep the information on this site accurate and current, but general descriptions, images, colours, dimensions and guide prices may not reflect the exact configuration or conditions at your property. We will confirm the agreed specification, price and programme in your order documents. A website enquiry is not an offer capable of acceptance — a contract is formed only as described in our Consumer or Trade Terms.

Acceptable use

  • Use the site lawfully and do not infringe another person's rights.
  • Do not introduce malware, attempt unauthorised access, or misuse our forms.
  • Do not submit false, defamatory or unlawful material, or personal information you have no right to provide.

Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, Highline or its licensors own this site and its text, designs, graphics, photographs and other content. You may view and print a reasonable copy for personal, non-commercial use in connection with a genuine enquiry. You must not reproduce, distribute or commercially exploit this content without our written permission.

Availability and liability

We may update, suspend or withdraw parts of the site and do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights. If you are a consumer, we are responsible for loss that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms; we are not responsible for business losses or losses caused by your misuse of the site.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you keep any mandatory local protections and may usually bring proceedings in the courts where you live.

Consumer Supply & Installation Terms

For homeowners and individuals buying wholly or mainly outside their business. These are our standing terms — the specific price, specification and dates for your project are always confirmed in writing in your Order Summary before you commit.

Who we are

We are HIGHLINE WINDOWS & DOORS LTD, registered in England and Wales under company number 12108839, registered office Flat 17 Northampton House, Hatton Road, Wembley, United Kingdom, HA0 1RL, trading address 86A Llanover Road, Wembley, HA9 7LT. Contact contact@highlinewindows.co.uk or +44 7351 338273. If you are buying wholly or mainly for business purposes, please ask for our Trade Terms instead.

Your order and when the contract starts

Our quote is an invitation for you to place an order, unless it expressly says it is a binding offer. A contract starts only when we send written acceptance, both parties sign the Order Summary, or we otherwise expressly confirm acceptance in writing — whichever the Order Summary states. Before you commit, we will give you the Order Summary, these terms, the applicable cancellation information, and a guarantee summary.

Specification and survey

Any pre-survey estimate is subject to our final survey. We'll tell you promptly if the survey reveals a necessary change to specification, price or timing, and no material change takes effect unless you agree it in writing.

Price, VAT and payment

The total price, VAT treatment and payment schedule for your project are set out in your Order Summary. Highline is not currently VAT registered. A deposit is security and part payment, not automatically non-refundable — if a contract ends, we apply the law and these terms fairly, explaining any deduction based on work performed or actual loss.

Dates, access and your responsibilities

Estimated survey, manufacture and installation dates are given in your Order Summary and are binding only where it says so. You'll provide safe, reasonable access to the property, remove obstructions from the work area, and let us know about hazards, access restrictions or parking rules in advance.

How we perform the work

We perform services with reasonable care and skill and supply goods that conform to the contract. We take reasonable care of your property and remove installation waste included in the Order Summary. Minor shade, grain or texture differences within an agreed specification are not defects, but this does not excuse a product that is faulty, misdescribed or outside an agreed tolerance.

Your right to cancel

Where a contract is agreed away from our trading address — for example, during a visit to your home — it is usually classed as an "off-premises contract" and you have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days without giving a reason, subject to the exceptions below. We will confirm the exact classification and cancellation period that applies to your specific order before you commit, in writing.

The cancellation period generally ends 14 days after the day the contract is entered into for a service, or the day you take physical possession of the goods, depending on what you've ordered — we'll confirm which applies to you. To cancel, tell us clearly at contact@highlinewindows.co.uk or 86A Llanover Road, Wembley, HA9 7LT, before the period ends. You can use the model form below, but you don't have to.

If you cancel within your statutory right, we will reimburse payments due under the applicable law without undue delay. No cancellation or restocking penalty is charged when you exercise a statutory right. If you expressly asked us to start work during the cancellation period and then cancel, you may have to pay a proportionate amount for the work already carried out.

Bespoke goods: the statutory change-of-mind right may not apply to goods genuinely made to your individual specification, such as units manufactured to your property's unique measurements. Where this applies, we will identify the specific items and the reason in your Order Summary before you commit. It does not affect your rights if goods are faulty, misdescribed or otherwise non-conforming.

Model cancellation form

To: HIGHLINE WINDOWS & DOORS LTD, 86A Llanover Road, Wembley, HA9 7LT, contact@highlinewindows.co.uk

Ordered on / received on: ______________________
Name of consumer(s): ______________________
Address of consumer(s): ______________________
Signature (if notified on paper): ______________________   Date: ______________________

Guarantee, complaints and your legal rights

Any commercial guarantee we provide is additional to your statutory rights — see our Guarantee section. Your remedies for faulty or misdescribed goods and services are governed by the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and other applicable law; nothing in these terms replaces or restricts them. If something goes wrong, please see our Complaints & Disputes section.

General

If a court finds part of these terms unlawful, the rest continues to apply. This contract is governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in another part of the United Kingdom, you retain any mandatory local protections.

Trade / B2B Supply & Installation Terms

These terms apply only where the customer is acting wholly or mainly for business purposes — landlords, contractors and companies ordering in a business capacity. A customer is not a trade customer merely because a job concerns a rental property or home business; homeowners should refer to our Consumer Terms.

Parties and scope

These terms apply between HIGHLINE WINDOWS & DOORS LTD (company number 12108839) and the business named in the Order. By ordering, the Customer confirms it is contracting wholly or mainly for its trade, business, craft or profession, and has authority to bind that business.

Quote, order and contract

A quote is not an offer unless stated. The Customer's order is accepted only when Highline issues written acceptance or begins performance. The Order, accepted quote, drawings and these terms together form the contract.

Price and payment

Prices exclude VAT unless stated (Highline is not currently VAT registered). The price, charges and payment schedule are set out in the Order. Highline may suspend work, after reasonable written notice, for an undisputed overdue sum.

Delivery, risk and title

Dates are estimates unless expressly fixed in the Order. Risk passes on delivery to the agreed location or collection. Title to uninstalled goods remains with Highline until all sums due for those goods are paid in full.

Installation, inspection and defects

Highline will use reasonable skill and care; included work and exclusions are stated in the Order. The Customer should inspect promptly and notify any visible shortage or damage without delay, without losing rights for latent defects that could not reasonably have been found at that time.

Cancellation

Business customers do not have an automatic consumer cooling-off right. For cancellation of special-order or manufactured goods, the Customer will pay Highline's reasonable net loss directly caused by the cancellation, after we take reasonable steps to reduce that loss.

Liability

Nothing limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, Highline's liability under a trade contract is limited to the value of the relevant Order unless otherwise agreed in writing.

General and law

No variation is effective unless agreed in writing by authorised representatives of both parties. English law applies and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from a trade contract.

Guarantee

Highline provides a guarantee on completed installations. The guarantee is confirmed in writing before you order and again with your final paperwork, and it is additional to your statutory rights — it never reduces them.

The exact components covered, duration, territory and any exclusions depend on the products and work involved, and are set out clearly in the written guarantee document for your specific order. If you'd like to know what would be covered before you commit to a quote, just ask us — contact@highlinewindows.co.uk or +44 7351 338273 — and we'll explain it in plain terms.

Your legal rights: this guarantee is in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights in relation to goods and services that are faulty, misdescribed, or otherwise fail to conform to the contract under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. You may have rights against us even in situations this guarantee doesn't cover.

Complaints & Disputes

We want to put things right. This policy is free to use and does not affect your statutory rights.

Tell us what happened, what outcome you're looking for, and your order number or installation address. Contact us at contact@highlinewindows.co.uk, +44 7351 338273, or by post to 86A Llanover Road, Wembley, HA9 7LT.

  • We will acknowledge your complaint within 2 business days and let you know who is handling it.
  • We aim to give you a full response within 10 business days. If we need a technical inspection or more evidence, we'll explain why and give you a revised date.
  • If you're not satisfied with our response, ask us to have it reviewed by a more senior member of the business; we'll normally respond within a further 10 business days.

Highline is not currently a member of a specific Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) scheme. If we're unable to resolve your complaint directly, we will point you to an appropriate independent ADR body relevant to your dispute at that time, and confirm whether we are willing to use it. This does not prevent you from seeking independent advice or using the courts at any point.

Reviews

Where we publish customer reviews or ratings, we aim for them to be genuine and useful. We do not publish fake reviews, and we do not suppress a review merely because it is negative. If you believe a review is fake or misleading, let us know at contact@highlinewindows.co.uk and we will look into it.

Accessibility Statement

Last reviewed: 21 August 2026

HIGHLINE WINDOWS & DOORS LTD wants this website to be usable by as many people as reasonably possible. We aim to follow WCAG 2.2 Level AA as a practical benchmark. This statement describes our approach — it is not a claim that every part of the site is fully conformant.

During development we've aimed to make sure you can navigate the site by keyboard, that images have descriptive alt text, that headings and page structure are semantic and readable by assistive technology, that interactive elements have visible focus states, and that motion-based effects respect your device's "reduce motion" setting. This is based on the considerations built into the site during development, rather than a formal third-party accessibility audit.

If you find something on this site that's difficult to use, or need information in a different format, please contact us at contact@highlinewindows.co.uk or +44 7351 338273, telling us the page and the problem you found. We'll aim to acknowledge within 2 business days and get back to you with a proper response within 10 business days.

We review this statement whenever the site changes materially.
